that I still really do enjoy reading, but it definitely takes more effort to focus and concentrate than when I was younger and going through all the books

I don't think the format works for me - even when I used to listen to podcasts, I needed to be doing something else, and I feel like I would have to concentrate more with books - but it is great that it does for you!
